The Advanced Tag Editor, shown in Figure 10-11, allows you to configure metadata about files in your library. You can access this editor by right-clicking a file in your library and then clicking Advanced Tag Editor. Metadata is useful in constructing playlists. It is likely that you will collect thousands of separate music files, and finding the right one to play can be difficult. With correctly configured metadata, you can configure the computer to play your tracks based on your mood, comments you have made about the track, the genre, key, or any number of factors. It is not necessary to do this, but it does help if you need to organize a very large music

collection. You might not remember all the songs that you associate with an old flame, but by using Windows Media Player, you can configure the computer to do it for you.

Animation in JavaFX is achieved through timelines, as represented by the appropriately named Timeline class. A timeline is a duration into which points of change can be defined. In JavaFX those points are known as key frames (note the KeyFrame class reference in listing 5.1), and they can take a couple of different forms. The first form uses a function type to assign a piece of code to run at a given point on the timeline, while the second changes the state of one or more variables across the duration between key frames, as represented in figure 5.6 (think back to the end of section 5.2.1 when we discussed digital- and analog-style animations).

Another potential security risk for MAPI Outlook clients is that the encoding used for RPC is not secure. If an attacker captures the packets sent using RPC, they will be able to decode the packets and read the messages. Additional security can be enabled by configuring the Outlook client to use encrypted RPC connections.

To provide additional security for the Outlook client connections to the Exchange Server computers, you can configure an Outlook RPC publishing rule on ISA Server. When you configure this publishing rule, ISA Server uses the RPC filter to manage the port number assignments for the RPC ports.

When an Outlook MAPI client from the Internet connects to a computer running Exchange Server through ISA Server, the RPC application filter works as follows: 1. The Outlook client issues a request over TCP Port 135 through ISA Server to the computer running Exchange Server to find the service port number associated with the Exchange RPC UUID. 2. The computer running Exchange Server sends a response back with a port number on which the client can communicate. The response includes all the UUIDs and associated port numbers that the client will use to connect to the required Exchange services. 3. ISA Server uses the RPC application filter to capture this information, and maintains it in a table. ISA Server allocates a new port on the ISA Server computer, and changes the response that it sends to the Outlook client to reflect this change. This information is also maintained in the table. 4. The Outlook MAPI client establishes a connection to the MAPI ports that ISA Server instructed it to use. ISA Server screens the RPC commands to ensure that no exploits are contained within the channel. 5. Information sent by the Outlook MAPI client is forwarded by ISA Server to the computer running Exchange Server. 6. The computer running Exchange Server responds to the Outlook MAPI client and ISA Server intercepts the responses. The RPC filter screens these responses and changes the source port number. 7. ISA Server forwards the responses to the Outlook MAPI client.

Media Sharing allows you to share items in your library with other computers or devices on your network. Rather than duplicate your music library on every computer in the house, you can use media sharing to allow your Pocket PC phone to function as a portable media player accessing your entire library while you work out on the treadmill without having to copy files across to the phone before starting your workout. To configure media sharing, perform the following steps: 1. Click any tab menu, and then click More Options. 2. Navigate to the Library tab, and click Configure Sharing. 3. Select the Share My Media check box, as shown in Figure 10-12.
