In the example snippet we see only the first form of timeline in play. The masterTimeline is a Timeline object containing several KeyFrame objects, one for each ripple in the animation. Each key frame consists of two parts: the action to be performed (the action) and the point on the timeline when it should start (the time). The result is a timeline that works through the ripples sequence one by one, with a delay of rippleGap milliseconds between each, calling playFromStart() on the timeline inside each Ripple object and thereby starting its animation. In a nutshell, masterTimeline controls the triggering of each ripple in the raindrop; figure 5.7 shows how this works in diagrammatic form. Practice 1: Configuring TV Settings In this practice, you will configure TV settings. This practice requires either the Home Premium or Ultimate edition of Windows Vista and an already installed TV tuner card. The computer also requires an active Internet connection. To complete the practice, perform the following steps: 1. Open Windows Media Center, and navigate to Tasks using the arrow keys. 2. In Tasks, navigate sideways using the arrow keys to Settings. 3. Navigate to TV, and then, on the menu shown in Figure 10-14, navigate to Set Up TV Signal.

With the newest versions of Exchange Server and Outlook, you can enable access to Exchange Server for Outlook clients using RPC over HTTP, which provides all the benefits of using an Outlook client without needing multiple ports open on the firewall. Users running Outlook 2003 can connect directly to a computer running Exchange Server 2003 over the Internet by using HTTP or HTTPS, even if both the computer running Exchange Server and Outlook are behind firewalls and located on different networks. Only the HTTP and HTTPS ports need to be opened on the firewall.

RPC over HTTP is usually deployed using front-end and back-end servers. The frontend server is an RPC proxy server that converts the RPC over HTTP packets into normal RPC packets, which are forwarded to the back-end computer running Exchange Server. The back-end server replies to the front-end server, which converts the response back into HTTP packets and replies to the client. In this case, the RPC proxy server need not be running Exchange Server. RPC over HTTP can also be deployed in a single server configuration where the Exchange Server is also configured as the RPC proxy server.

Important You should not configure the ISA Server computer as the RPC proxy server because to do so you would need to install IIS on the server. Moreover, the access rule configuration would be quite complex.
